Before his death in 1891, Waltz allegedly shared clues to the mine's location, sparking one of Arizona's greatest treasure hunts.

Since then, countless adventurers have searched for the legendary gold. Most found nothing.

Some claimed they came close. Others disappeared entirely. The mystery remains unsolved to this day.
