We captured this inside the former First Avenue Jail — now the MASH Unit.

At the very beginning of the video, you can hear what sounds like a scream… followed by a low growl coming from the darkness of the holding area.

The disturbing part?

No one in the room reacted.
No one remembers hearing it in real time.
It only showed up when the footage was played back.

And the area we were filming near? A cell where an inmate reportedly hung himself.
