When and where do we meet?

The meeting location and time vary depending on the specific tour you've booked. You will receive all the details, including the exact meeting spot and start time, in your confirmation email. Will we go inside any locations during the ghost tour?

Most places on the tour do not allow entry due to their historical preservation and many are currently occupied by other businesses. However, we do get to go inside a few select places as part of the tour experience. Each tour page says exactly where.

What kind of ghost hunting equipment will be provided?

We provide an EMF detector, dowsing rods and spirit boxes. Our guides will instruct you on how to use them effectively during the tour.

Will I encounter real ghosts on the tour?

While we cannot guarantee paranormal encounters, our tour aims to provide you with an authentic and eerie experience by visiting locations with reported hauntings and allowing you to use ghost hunting equipment.

Are the tours wheelchair accessible?

Central Phoenix Screamix and Haunted Jails, Rails & Grave Tales are fully wheelchair accessible. Phoenix History, Mystery & Ghosts is accessible except for the final stop, which requires stairs down into the basement. The Millz Have Eyez is not wheelchair accessible. Contact us to confirm accessibility for other tours before booking.

Central Phoenix Screamix is an outdoor, 2-hour walking ghost tour through central Phoenix for ages 8 and older. Stops include Hotel San Carlos, the Security Building, the Westward Ho, the A.E. England Building, the Phoenix Masonic Temple, the former A.L. Moore & Sons Mortuary and the Orpheum Theatre, with two hands-on ghost hunts using EMF detectors, spirit boxes and dowsing rods. The tour is fully wheelchair accessible and does not go inside buildings. Paranormal activity is not guaranteed.

Weather: All stops are outdoors. Dress for the weather, Phoenix nights can surprise you in both directions.
Footwear: Comfortable walking shoes. You'll be on pavement for most of the walk.
Equipment: Two hands-on investigations are included. Equipment is provided at both stops.
Accessibility: Fully wheelchair accessible throughout.
Meeting point: Meet in front of the former Chase Tower at 201 N. Central Avenue, directly across the street from Hotel San Carlos. Please arrive 15 minutes early.
Cancellations: Weather decisions are generally made around 5 PM on tour day, based on current and expected conditions. If we cancel for weather, we offer rescheduling first; if you cannot reschedule, you can receive a refund. Regular cancellations require 24 hours' notice for a refund or credit. No-shows are charged the full price.

If we cancel for weather, we offer rescheduling first; if you cannot reschedule, you can receive a refund. Regular cancellations receive a full refund or credit with 24 hours' notice. Operator cancellations for other unforeseen circumstances receive a full refund or credit. Call us to cancel or ask about a cancellation. No-shows are charged the full price.

We kindly request that you arrive 15 minutes before your tour starts, as parking can be a bit tricky, especially during special events. Street parking is usually the best option and can be found near the starting point of most tours. There are also parking garages available, but keep in mind that they can cost up to $40 during special events. Light rail is also a convenient option if you'd prefer to avoid parking altogether. For more detailed parking instructions, please check your booking confirmation email.
